Because I get asked about many health topics that are not chiropracTIC, I have partnered with a friend in an online health coaching program. If you already have a FullScript account with another provider, in order to work with me, you must either contact the provider who set it up your current Fullscript account to order labwork, set up a new account with me as the provider, or contact FullScript to see if your existing account can be transferred to me, otherwise I will not be able to order labs for you. Once you have your baseline labs, you can order supplements at a crazy percentage (that I am not allowed to advertise) off MSRP (free shipping on orders over $50) to address any deficiencies while changing your dietary intake so that you can wean off the supplements. You can also order supplements without the labs, but I really do not recommend it. There are also some supplements that I do not recommend ordering without understanding how they impact your physiology. There are supplements that can be as dangerous as Rx or OTC drugs. I personally do not use any supplements other than iodine & recently , I have been teesting methylene blue. Yes, I jumped on that "bandwagon". I was asked about it by practice members. I did not have the expected results but I did have some pretty excellent effects in that chronic right hip pain has disappeared. I used 5 drops daily on weekdays of a 2% solution in water and take a break on weekends. Iodine - I prefer the Nascent over Lugol's because Lugol's tastes vile to me but I use both alternating them when I am not consuming as much seafood.
Related to what I eat, I have probably tried every "diet" out over the 4+ decades that I have been in charge of what I eat. I have been vegetarian multiple times for several years over my 61 yearsaw vegetarian - mostly raw. I also fasted for 72 hours at least once monthly. Fasting was always a struggle. I just powered through. My eating habits have always annoyed my family - ask my mother. At this time, I am keto or more accurately - carnivore. And, still annnoying my family. I was a carb addict. And, type II diabetes is common in my family. I wanted to prevent it & so research led me to ketogenic eating & more specifially, to carnivore. I tried a 30-day experiment of eating only fatty meats, butter, & salt. This began on 01 Oct 2024. I'm still conducting that expermiment because I felt so great after my first 30 day experiment & repeated it. Then, repeated it again & again so here I am still doing this. Fasting is so much easier now because I'm making & burning ketones instead of glucose. Brain fog is gone. My vision is improving...as in I no longer need readers to read the dash of my vehicle. I no longer have the insane food cravings thaat I used to have. I wrote a BLOG on it.
